Bayu received his B.A. from Middlebury College and did his Ph.D. in Chemistry in the group of Prof. Phillip Milner at Cornell University. His Ph.D. research focused on developing photo- and electrochemical reactions as energy-efficient pathways for chemical separations. In his free time, he enjoys a myriad of activities, including kayaking, ice skating, and playing with his two cats.
